Classic Planes TV
Creating the first online pay-as-you go cinema experience for fans of classic aviation.
We were approached by the Canadian team behind the production of stunning aviation battle re-enactments videos to supply them with a vehicle to distbute them to their fans, previously dealt with through the Discovery Channel.
Video streaming
The biggest challenge we faced with this project was how we were going to deliver the content of potentially hundreds of 30 minute videos to the subscribers, with minimum loss of quality, and consistent streaming.
We worked closely with the AeroCinema team to develop a system that was both robust, reliable and fit the requirements of the users.
Beta testing
Given the potential for huge interest in the project and to ensure a completely smooth full rollout we prepared a beta testing stage for users. This was a sort of 'trial' for a select few lucky enthusiasts. Feedback was positive and with some minor tweaks the full site went live with online advertising, and promotion at various aviation exhibitions around the world!
