Cuddledry.com

We helped Cuddledry double the number of visitors to their site leading to an increase in online sales.

HigherSites won the contract to redesign and develop the main cuddledry.com corporate website in July 2008. Their existing website had helped them to provide their customers a fair amount of information since the company's beginnings, and also allowed the purchase of some of their products, but it was beginning to show it's age in terms of looks and functionality.


Selecting a focus

It was decided that the main focus of the site would be to promote and market the cuddledry range in a simple and easy to use manner as well as provide information to new parents on baby bathing through a 'tips' section - helping to build the brand.

Given that the website would be be performing a very central role within the business, it was essential that it got updated frequently, so as not to appear out of date at any point in time. To allow this, we gave the site complete content management, allowing the cuddledry team to upload new products, news articles, press releases and images to the site whenever they please!

Website growth

The site has grown radically even in the short time that we have launched it, it's gone from being a relatively straightforward eCommerce store, to a full online business which now includes automated email newsletter facilities, secure trade customer area for retailers to buy directly, a monthly blog, and even a press area for journalists etc to grab the latest PR and high-resolution product images for publication.

With our help in conducting numerous competitions, promotions, email marketing campaigns and social networking activities, cuddledry have seen the site gain 1,500% (yes 15 times) the number of visitors in 9 months up until December 2009.

Moving forwards

Plans are already constantly being developed for moving forwards, throughout 2010 the site will be becomming even more customer focused. The addition of customer comments for all the product range, feedback options and more useful information being added will ensure the site remains a reason for happy customers to return.
