Office Butty
Complete development of an online lunch ordering application, branding, video guide and email marketing.
When existing client and owner of Ralegh's Cross Inn approached us with an idea for creating an online lunch ordering application, our ears immediately perked up, not least because it was based around one of our favourite subjects - food.
Unique Selling Point
We looked around online to see how other companies had built their lunch ordering and it seemed most had a rather complex and un-intuitive interface. Our goal was to make our lunch ordering process as easy as walking ino a shop and ordering directly, but at the same time, try and introduce a fun element.
To do this, we broke the sandwich 'making' process into stages, like a journey. Select your bread or salad box, then fillings, salad and condiments.
Beta testing
After some sample tests to a people, the site recieved a soft launch to a limited number of offices within the immediate local delivery area. Both ourselves and the guys at Office Butty wanted to gauge how much work was involved on a daily basis, and after some initial tweaking with regards to timescales, reminder emails and messaging, it looks as though we've got it just about right.
Feedback
During it's trial launch we've had lots of positive feedback from users of the site. Predominantly regarding the site's ease of use and intuitive navigation. There's been some rather odd orders coming through, and we're looking forward to having Office Butty delivery to our offices. (we'll probably keep the business going through our orders alone!)
